How much does custom painting cost?

Paint prices for goalie masks, helmets, vehicles, motorcycles and illustration artwork start around $200.00 and depend on size, detail or complexity. Once I see the project and we decide what we are going to do, the cost will be determined and that is what you pay, no surprises at the end. Extra cost may be added to remove old paintwork or replace rusted screws and fasteners on helmets or goalie masks.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made with personal cheque or a money order made out to Derrick Gilders. A $50.00 deposit (credited towards your balance) is required for any preliminary concept/design work if your project has not been shipped or dropped off. The entire balance will be required prior to picking up your project and all personal cheques must clear before a project is shipped.

How do I ship?

Gilders Design can ship worldwide or if you are in the London area, you are more than welcome to drop off and pickup you project. Shipping costs depend greatly on how you want your custom paint job sent, how fast you want it to get there and where it has to go. Shipping costs will be determined and added to the cost of the paint job prior to your final payment. You will be responsible for delivery and pickup of vehicles, motorcycles, and other large projects.

What is the turnaround time?

Gilders Design turnaround time is approximately 2-3 weeks, which may increase or decrease depending on the detail, complexity of your design, size of the project or my workload at the time. If you have a deadline, I will do my best to get it done for you.
